This position is responsible to receive/verify all dietary supplies received and matching against requisitions using receiving reports to ensure accurateness. Ensure that the facility does not receive more/less than expected and inform supervisor immediately. How does it get done? The job gets done by performing tasks such as: perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Maintain dry storage area and label dietary supplies. Store food/supplies in containers and in the proper storage areas. Demonstrate knowledge of infection control, sanitation, and licensing/certification standards when receiving/distributing food supplies for quality and safety. Date, label, and rotate stock with first in/last out method. Conduct monthly inventory recording physical counts, assist with reconciliation, and submit data to food production manager. Perform other related duties as assigned. Who are the customers? Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid NM Drivers License. Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate. Working Conditions This position will perform work at the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute, both indoors and outdoors. Lifting, pushing, pulling, transferring, and/or carrying up to one hundred (100) pounds may be required. Incumbent may be exposed to moderate noise levels.
