Role and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will help manage daily warehouse functions by organizing inventory, maintaining essential documentation, and assisting with the movement and preparation of goods. You will contribute to precise inventory control and efficient order processing. Key responsibilities include:
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to maintain accuracy and meet quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and update product data within warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Organize and store items properly to support smooth warehouse operations.
• Assist with order picking and packing to ensure correct quantities and secure packaging.
• Prepare, tag, and arrange outgoing shipments based on client requirements and set timelines.
• Conduct periodic inventory reviews to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Follow established safety and cleanliness procedures to maintain a compliant warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to enhance workflow efficiency and address operational challenges.
Required Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform physical warehouse activities.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS).
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, time-sensitive work setting.
• Solid organizational and communication skills.
• Fundamental math skills for inventory accuracy and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in working with automated warehouse systems.
• Forklift certification is beneficial but not required.
• Experience with product tracking tools such as RFID or barcode systems.
