Stock Clerk

Overview Maintain the inventory, distribute items, and ship items. The Stockroom Clerk receive new merchandise, check for mislabeling or damage, and deliver items to proper stocking areas. They keep records of shipped items, and they compile reports on different inventory or production changes. Organize aviation engine shop stockroom and inventory items for more efficient flow and easier location of parts. Communicate matter relative to material usage, cost and suitability from supervisors and users. Perform analysis of logistics for equipment, personnel, and training on computer spreadsheets/databases, using specialize tracking software. Light computer work with regards to taking and receiving orders for customers via fax, phone, and online orders. Experience Warehouse experience, inventory and prior aviation stockroom experience is helpful; shipping and receiving, and inventory management experience are also valued. Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting, use basic math, and follow safe lifting practices. Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, stocking, cleaning, and load-and-unload tasks is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities and customer service experience are welcome.
