About the Role We're looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on Part-Time Stock Associate to support daily store operations at our Cudahy location. In this role, you'll help receive deliveries, organize inventory, replenish merchandise, and maintain a clean, well-stocked store. You'll also assist customers and support other retail activities when needed. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys active, hands-on work and takes pride in keeping store operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Receiving & Inventory Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming merchandise and deliveries. Assist with moving and handling palletized shipments using appropriate equipment and safe handling procedures. Transport merchandise from receiving and storage areas to the sales floor. Organize stockroom inventory and maintain accurate product placement. Support inventory counts and report damaged, missing, or incorrect merchandise. Stocking & Store Operations Restock shelves and maintain product availability throughout the store. Arrange merchandise according to store guidelines and display standards. Keep the stockroom, shelves, and work areas clean, safe, and organized. Assist with product labeling, pricing, and promotional displays. Follow company safety procedures and inventory control guidelines. Customer & Team Support Help customers locate products and answer basic questions when needed. Collaborate with store associates and management to complete daily operational tasks. Support additional store activities as assigned. Qualifications Required Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Comfortable performing physical, hands-on retail and stockroom tasks. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Basic English communication skills sufficient for workplace instructions, safety, and customer interactions. Flexible availability based on store scheduling needs. Preferred Previous experience in retail stocking, warehouse operations, inventory, receiving, or merchandising. Experience handling merchandise deliveries and organizing stockrooms. Familiarity with retail inventory procedures. Previous experience in the beauty industry is not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts. Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise as required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (approximately 23 kg) as needed. Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Follow safe lifting and material-handling procedures, including using appropriate equipment or team assistance when necessary. Work Schedule Actual schedules, shift assignments, and weekly hours may vary based on store needs, employee availability, position type, and applicable law. Typical shift examples may include: Opening Shift: 8:45 AM – 4:45 PM Mid Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM Closing Shift: 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM Employees may be scheduled for different shifts from week to week based on business needs.
