Steel Plant Logistics

Job Summary As a Steel Plant Logistics team member, you’ll keep materials moving safely and efficiently through warehouse and plant operations. You’ll support warehouse distribution, shipping and receiving. Your impact: Accurate, safe material movement helps production teams access the supplies they need and supports reliable deliveries to customers. This position is MONDAY-FRIDAY 8am-4:30pm. Responsibilities Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials. Prepare and process shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing lists, and receiving records. Schedule and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers, customers, and internal departments. Maintain accurate records. Communicate with production, warehouse, and transportation teams to support efficient operations. Track shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and address delays or transportation issues. Ensure shipping and receiving procedures comply with company policies and safety requirements. Basic math skills. *Additional tasks as needed to perform the job that may not be specifically listed above. Experience in shipping and receiving operations is preferred. Knowledgeable in coordinating shipments, preparing shipping documentation, tracking deliveries, verifying materials, and communicating with carriers and internal departments. Must be skilled in organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, and ensuring materials are shipped and received accurately and on schedule.
