Station Operations Specialist/ Operator
Gofo Incstation operation specialist Responsibilities: Evaluate, onboard, and build long-term partnerships with Delivery Service Partners (DSPs). Negotiate contracts and service pricing with DSPs to ensure cost-effective and high-quality delivery services. Provide daily operational support to DSPs, addressing issues and ensuring smooth delivery processes. Monitor package deliveries to ensure accurate tracking and on-time performance. Resolve delivery-related issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement. Ensure DSPs comply with company policies, contractual agreements, and industry standards. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and align on delivery strategies. Requirements: Experience in logistics operations, vendor management, or a related field (experience with DSPs is a plus). Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with logistics systems and industry regulations is preferred Educational background in logistics, supply chain management, analytics, engineering, or a related field is a plus. warehouse operator: Responsibilities: - Sort packages by zip code for delivery by DSP. Supervise temporary workers during the sorting process. - Train temporary workers in sorting procedures and best practices. - Communicate with DSPs to resolve delivery issues.Identify and establish potential partnerships with new DSPs. - Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs as needed. - Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA guidelines. - Keep the warehouse clean and organized. - Coordinate truck dispatch and ensure smooth delivery operations. - Design efficient delivery routes for drivers to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency. - Track and manage exception cases, including damaged, lost, or delayed parcels. - Work closely with relevant teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. - Other tasks assigned. Requirements: - Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred. - Proficiency in operating clamp trucks, and pallet jacks. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Basic computer skills for inventory management purposes. - Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
