Delivery Driver – Independent Contractor (1099) PACKAGE PICKUP LOCATION: Greenville, SC DELIVERY AREAS: Belton, Anderson, Easley (Each driver is assigned ONE area per day. You will not deliver to multiple areas on the same day.) Deliver packages for GOFO as an independent contractor using your personal vehicle, choose your own days, and get paid per package. The more you deliver, the more you earn. Work as many or as few days as you wish. Work available 7 days a week. ABOUT THE JOB This is a 1099 independent contractor position delivering packages for GOFO. Most are small parcels, like orders from Temu or the TikTok Shop. It's similar to Amazon Flex, but with more volume each day, and you're paid per package. WHAT YOU CAN EARN ~100 packages (about 91 stops): about $140 per day ~150 packages (about 136 stops): about $209 per day Top drivers (~200 packages/day): about $280 per day, or roughly $1,400–$1,700 per week depending on number of days worked and number of packages delivered Actual earnings vary with the number of packages and stops on your route, and the rates above are estimates. Delivering fewer packages means less pay, and delivering more packages means more pay. HOW PAY WORKS You earn $1.50 per stop, plus $0.35 for each additional package delivered at the same stop. Example: You pull up to one address with 4 packages for the same customer or apartment. 1 stop: $1.50 3 additional packages: 3 × $0.35 = $1.05 Total for that stop: $2.55 PAYDAY Everyone is paid by check every Friday. Your first week of pay is held back, so work done this week is paid out the following Friday, and so on. WORK SCHEDULE Work is available 7 days a week. Choose any day or combination of days. You commit to the days you choose, and let us know in advance if you can't make one. Drivers meet at the Greenville warehouse at 6:00 AM for route prep and pickup. Habitual tardiness isn't accepted because it isn't fair to the rest of the team. If you cannot commit to arriving at 6 AM on the days you choose to work, please do not apply. WHAT TO EXPECT You use your own vehicle and manage your own expenses. No taxes are withheld from your pay. Gas and mileage are not reimbursed. The GOFO app does award points for good performance, which can be exchanged for gas gift cards. One delivery area per day. Your route is assigned in the morning, and all of your packages will be within that one area. Routes must be completed the same day they're picked up, no exceptions. Repeated failure to do so will result in contract termination. Highly efficient and productive drivers are able to deliver roughly 25–35 packages per hour. FINES For asset protection purposes, fines are set by GOFO, not by us, and are deducted from driver pay when deliveries are done incorrectly and not reconciled. They include: Lost or misdelivered packages with no recovery or redelivery: $50 each Bad or missing proof-of-delivery photos: $2 each We have a team of honest, detail-oriented drivers who generally manage to avoid fines. Check that you have all your packages before you leave the warehouse, take clear delivery photos, and double-check each address, and fines are easy to avoid.
