Stand-Up Forklift Operator - Weekend 2nd Shift Location: Wilmer, TX 75172 Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Pay: $19.50hr Shift : Saturday to Wednesday - (Thursday & Friday off) Hours : 3:30pm to 12:00am + Overtime Overview Summary: Summit Staffing is seeking dependable Stand-Up Forklift Operators to support warehouse and distribution operations in Wilmer, TX. Candidates must have at least one year of hands-on stand-up forklift experience. Order picker/cherry picker experience is strongly preferred, and candidates must be comfortable working at elevated heights. NOTE: The position will consist of operating BOTH Stand-Up Crown Forklift and a Cherry Picker. Shift / Pay Details: Weekend Shift: $19.50/hour - Saturday–Wednesday - 3:30 PM–12:00 AM For immediate consideration, call Chris at 214-253-9322 Key Responsibilities: Safely operate stand-up forklifts throughout the distribution center. Move, store, retrieve, and put away products and pallets. Navigate warehouse aisles and high-level rack systems. Operate order pickers/cherry pickers as needed. Perform equipment and safety checks. Follow warehouse safety, quality, and productivity standards. Maintain accurate product placement and an organized work area. Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of hands-on stand-up forklift operating experience required. Ideally, 6 months or more of order picker/cherry picker experience. Must be comfortable working at elevated heights and not afraid of heights on a Cherry Picker. Experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Must live near Wilmer/South Dallas or have reliable transportation. Must be willing to complete a criminal background check and drug test. Must be available to work the full schedule for the selected shift, plus overtime. Important: Candidates must have at least one year of stand-up forklift experience. Work Environment and Overtime: Fast-paced, high-volume distribution center. Frequent operation of stand-up forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Work around elevated storage racks and high-level inventory. Overtime opportunities, particularly during the Q4 holiday season.
