Must be able to pass pre-employment Drug-Test and background check screening JOB OVERVIEW: Summit Staffing is currently hiring experienced Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operators for a busy distribution center in Wilmer, TX. The primary requirement for this position is strong, hands-on experience operating a stand-up reach forklift in a high-volume warehouse environment. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Safely operate stand-up reach forklifts throughout the distribution center. Navigate narrow warehouse aisles and high-level rack systems. Retrieve, move, and put away products throughout the facility. Load, unload, and move pallets and merchandise safely and efficiently. Operate Crown and Raymond stand-up reach forklifts. Operate cherry pickers as needed. Perform daily equipment and safety checks. Maintain accurate product placement and inventory movement. Follow all warehouse safety, quality, and productivity standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. REQUIRED FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE: Strong stand-up reach forklift experience is REQUIRED. Qualified candidates should have hands-on experience operating: Stand-Up Reach Forklift Crown Stand-Up Reach Raymond Stand-Up Reach Cherry Picker NOTE: Candidates must be very comfortable operating in narrow warehouse aisles and placing or retrieving product from elevated rack locations, including racks reaching approximately 6-9 levels high. This position requires an experienced stand-up reach operator. Sit-down forklift experience alone does NOT meet the requirements for this position. REQUIREMENTS: Strong previous experience operating a stand-up reach forklift. Experience working in high-rack warehouse environments. Ability to safely operate equipment at elevated heights. Reliable transportation to and from the Wilmer, TX area. Must be local to the Wilmer / South Dallas area. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able to pass a drug test. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work the full Monday-Friday 2nd shift. Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
