Stadium Operations Intern - Sonoma Stompers Baseball Position Overview: The Sonoma Stompers are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and versatile Stadium Operations intern to help deliver a seamless and memorable fan experience throughout the summer baseball season. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about sports, event management, and community engagement. As a key member of our front office, the Stadium Operations intern will oversee day-to-day stadium operations, support team logistics, and play an integral role in promotions, sponsorships, and fan engagement. Key Responsibilities: Stadium & Game Day Operations Oversee all aspects of stadium readiness, including opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, and general maintenance coordination Manage trash, signage, and stadium setup to ensure smooth game-day execution Serve as primary point of contact for stadium logistics, ensuring all elements run efficiently during home games Group Events & Promotional Nights Plan and execute themed nights, community outreach events, and on-field promotions along with marketing team Coordinate group ticket sales and experiences for schools, nonprofits, and businesses Work with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement fun, engaging promotions Concessions & Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels for both the concession stand and snack shack Assist with ordering, restocking, and organizing supplies Work closely with Jacob’s Restaurant Team & Baseball Operations Assist with team logistics including equipment setup, field prep, and clubhouse needs Support players and coaches to ensure a smooth game-day experience Foster relationships with current sponsors and ensure fulfillment of sponsorship deliverables Assist with outreach and sales calls to attract new sponsors and partners Customer Service & Fan Engagement Sponsorship & Sales Support Provide exceptional customer service to fans, sponsors, and guests Troubleshoot issues quickly and professionally during games Help maintain a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere Marketing & Communications Collaboration Work closely with the marketing and broadcasting teams to align on promotions, game-by-game needs, and social media content Support execution of pre-game ceremonies, in-game promotions, and fan interactions Qualifications: Strong organizational and time-management skills Communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Sales or customer service experience is a plus Passion for baseball, good work ethic, and a team-first attitude What We Offer: Hands-on experience in the sports industry and event operations Additionally, gain valuable experience in management, organization, guest services, teamwork, sales, and more A dynamic, fun, and fast-paced work environment Opportunities to build your network within the sports industry Team gear and discounted game-day meals College credit (if applicable) and potential future employment opportunities We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
