For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Sourcing Manager, Contract Manufacturing to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will own strategic sourcing for contract manufacturing partners, with a focus on balancing quality, capacity, and cost across a complex supplier base. The Sr. Sourcing Manager will lead commercial negotiations, build should-cost models, and partner cross-functionally to support operational improvements and product launches. This is a highly visible role that helps strengthen supplier performance and drive better economics across manufacturing operations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $162,900 – $181,000 annually Responsibilities Own category strategy and commercial relationships for contract manufacturers across operations Develop a supplier network strategy balancing quality, capacity, and cost-effectiveness Lead supplier identification, selection, and ongoing management, including contract negotiations Build should-cost models to analyze supply chain costs and support pricing negotiations Map manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements Serve as the primary contact for assigned contract manufacturers to build productive relationships Collaborate cross-functionally to execute strategic initiatives and product launches Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, contract manufacturing, supplier management, or supply chain Experience managing contract manufacturers in nutraceuticals, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, or similar industries Demonstrated experience leading complex supplier negotiations and managing senior-level commercial relationships Strong should-cost capability for deconstructing conversion costs and identifying negotiation opportunities Working knowledge of industrial engineering fundamentals relevant to manufacturing operations Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel; ERP experience preferred Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Commuter Benefits Life & Short-Term Disability Insurance 401(k) with company match Flexible Time Off (FTO) policy Equity options Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
