We are seeking experienced Sr. Manufacturing Line Coordinators to join our Boise manufacturing team. In this role, you will independently manage production priorities, manufacturing workflow, and operational escalations to meet customer delivery commitments and improve cycle time, throughput, and site performance. The ideal candidate brings advanced production control experience, sound operational judgment, and strong communication skills. You will serve as a lead coordinator during assigned shifts, guide less experienced team members, and keep internal teams and customers informed of production status, risks, and recovery plans. Location: Photronics – Boise, ID. This is an on-site position and we are not open to remote candidates at this time. Travel: No travel required. Responsibilities Production Control & WIP Management Independently monitor and manage work-in-progress (WIP), adjusting daily priorities to balance customer commitments, engineering requirements, operational constraints, and business needs. Coordinate priority, qualification, expedited, and customer-critical material, including screamer and hot plate requirements, through bottleneck operations and constrained resources. Analyze capacity and workflow constraints, drive priority material through completion, and coordinate actions to reduce aging WIP and improve cycle time. Serve as an advanced user of Factory View, MES, RackMon, and other production control systems. Manufacturing Communication & Operational Leadership Serve as the primary Production Control coordinator during assigned shifts, lead production passdowns, and guide Manufacturing Line Coordinator I and II personnel. Coordinate Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Sales, Customer Support, and Operations teams, including other Photronics sites as needed. Communicate plate status, delivery risks, technical issues, equipment downtime, defectivity, and recovery plans to Sales, Customer Service, and customers as needed. Inventory & Exception Management Oversee held, waiting, aging, and exception inventory, maintaining accurate inventory and production status in manufacturing systems. Partner with Engineering on holds, dispositions, restarts, and priority concerns, and investigate issues to minimize impacts on cycle time and customer commitments. Escalation Management & Problem Resolution Own operational escalations from identification through resolution, leading cross-functional recovery from manufacturing constraints, engineering issues, equipment downtime, material shortages, and workflow disruptions. Resolve delivery-impacting issues, escalate complex concerns to leadership when needed, and track recovery actions through completion with clear stakeholder updates. Operational Improvement Support new manufacturing processes, automation initiatives, visibility tools, and workflow improvements. Recommend and participate in improvements to cycle time, throughput, inventory management, communication, and customer delivery performance. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Advanced knowledge of manufacturing operations, production flow, inventory management, and production control principles. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently prioritize work, make operational decisions, and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple functions.
