Job Overview The Senior Manager, SIOP leads the Medical Business Unit's end-to-end Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process. The role translates business strategy and financial objectives into aligned demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and master production plans. This leader partners across Commercial, Finance, Operations, Procurement, Product Management, and Supply Chain to establish one executable plan, identify risks and opportunities, and drive timely business decisions. Key Responsibilities Own the Medical BU SIOP operating model, governance, monthly cadence, and executive reviews. Lead the Demand Planning, Inventory Management, and S&OE functions. Connect the 3–24 month SIOP horizon with annual financial planning, long-range strategy, and the 0–90 day S&OE execution horizon. Balance customer service, growth, capacity, working capital, and profitability through fact-based scenarios and decisions. SIOP Leadership & Business Integration Own and continuously improve the end-to-end SIOP process, calendar, governance, decision rights, and executive review content. Integrate commercial assumptions, demand outlook, supply capability, capacity, inventory, and financial commitments into one consensus plan. Lead scenario planning, gap-to-plan reviews, and risk and opportunity discussions; drive clear decisions, owners, and follow-through. Partner with Finance to reconcile operating plans with the annual plan, forecast, and latest business expectations. Demand Planning Lead demand planning across products, customers, regions, and sites, including baseline forecasting, commercial intelligence, new-product demand, and forecast handoffs. Establish segmentation, forecast value-add, forecast accuracy, bias, and assumption-management disciplines. Challenge demand inputs constructively and ensure an unconstrained demand view is available for supply and financial planning. Supply, Capacity & Master Production Planning Lead aggregate supply planning and capacity reviews across component and assembly operations. Ensure demand priorities are translated into feasible supply plans and Master Production Schedules, with appropriate planning horizons and time fences. Assess labor, equipment, supplier, material, and intercompany constraints; develop recovery, allocation, sourcing, or capacity scenarios. Drive alignment among supply plans, site MPS, material requirements, production schedules, and customer commitments. Improve schedule attainment, planning stability, constraint visibility, and escalation discipline. Inventory & Working Capital Own BU inventory strategy, targets, projections, health, and governance. Guide safety-stock, service-level, replenishment, lot-size, MOQ, lead-time, and stocking-policy decisions. Drive action on excess, obsolete, aging, and slow-moving inventory while protecting customer service and growth plans. Required What your background should look like Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline. 10+ years of progressive supply chain, operations, or planning experience, including significant leadership responsibility. Demonstrated ownership of SIOP, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning in a complex manufacturing environment. Hands-on end-to-end experience across demand planning, supply planning, capacity planning, inventory management, MPS, MRP, and S&OE. Experience facilitating executive-level cross-functional reviews and converting scenarios into decisions and actions. Strong analytical, financial, communication, change leadership, and stakeholder-influence skills. Preferred Medical, life sciences, electronics, industrial, automotive, or other multi-site manufacturing experience. SAP IBP and SAP ERP planning experience; experience with advanced analytics or digital supply-chain solutions. APICS/AS…
