Position Summary:
The SCM Logistics Senior Manager is responsible for designing and executing regional logistics strategies across Canada, Mexico, LATAM, and the US Ethnic channel. This role ensures optimized supply chain operations through logistics network design, 3PL management, cost optimization, and new market setup, while maintaining high service levels and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Logistics Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute logistics strategies across Canada, Mexico, LATAM, and US Ethnic channel
Design end-to-end logistics operating models aligned with demand and sales structures (Inbound / Warehouse / Last Mile), including domestic distribution for Ethnic channels
Optimize logistics networks leveraging RHQ (US)-driven hub-and-spoke or localized models
Identify and manage country-specific logistics risks, including customs clearance, lead time variability, and infrastructure constraints
3PL Management & Vendor Governance
Lead 3PL sourcing initiatives including RFP, RFQ, and tender processes
Negotiate contracts and establish service level agreements (SLAs) with logistics partners
Conduct regular performance reviews and manage KPIs (OTIF, Lead Time, Cost per CBM, Inventory Accuracy)
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in service quality and cost efficiency
Logistics Cost Analysis & Optimization
Analyze logistics cost structures across regions and channels (Ocean, Inland transportation, Warehousing)
Manage budget vs. actual performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
Develop transportation strategies, including contract vs. spot rate optimization
Perform data-driven logistics cost analysis using SAP and financial systems
Improve service levels and ensure stable operations for key customers
New Market Setup & Expansion
Design logistics operating models for new market entries
Establish warehouse setup, cross-border flow, and local distribution structures
Define go-to-market logistics strategies (Direct import vs. Hub distribution)
Develop SCM policies aligned with local regulations, customs requirements, and distribution channels
Governance & Cross-functional Alignment
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HQ SCM teams to align logistics strategies
Integrate logistics planning into SIOP processes to ensure execution alignment
Lead issue resolution and response for major supply chain disruptions (e.g., rollover, stock imbalance)
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
8–12+ years of experience in SCM and logistics operations
Hands-on experience in global logistics (Ocean / Air / 3PL)
Proven experience in 3PL sourcing, contract negotiation, and performance management
Strong experience in logistics cost analysis and optimization
Experience with SAP or ERP-based supply chain systems
Fluent in both Korean and English.
Preferred:
Experience in North America and LATAM logistics operations
Spanish or additional language proficiency
Experience in new market or entity setup (0 → 1)
SIOP / demand-supply integration experience
The base salary for this position is between $100,000.00 and $140,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
