The Role: Work Model: Hybrid Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Travel Requirements: 5 -10% Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes, including both onshore and offshore teams Reports to: VP, Controller Pay Range: Competitive base salary plus bonus plan All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Summary / Primary Role: The Senior Manager, Accounting is responsible for leading key accounting activities across multiple business units, including month-end closing, account reconciliations, financial reporting support, audits, budgeting, and process improvement. This role will also provide leadership and oversight to accounting team members while partnering closely with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, and operational leaders to ensure accurate financial results, strong internal processes, and timely reporting. What You’ll Do: Management and oversight of direct reporting employees including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Facilitate monthly financial closing in accordance with the timelines and processes established. Review monthly account reconciliations. Participate in the continual improvement and development of processes, procedures and training documentation. Assist Corporate with local non-income tax filings. Assist with annual insurance and financial audits. Assist with annual budget preparation. Evaluate subsidiary journals for obvious errors and omissions and enter corrected data into general ledger. Collaborate with Corporate FP&A team on financial preparation and analysis. Cross-functionally train within the department to provide back-up to the VP, Controller, and other positions as needed. Participate in meetings, training sessions, etc. as needed and required. Participate in the recruitment of department staffing or the division with approvals from the executive leadership teams. All other duties and projects as assigned What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business management is required; CPA preferred. Minimum of seven years of previous relevant experience in an accounting position is required. Blend of public and private accounting is preferred. Previous work experience within transportation and logistics strongly preferred. Working knowledge of Oracle finance platform preferred.
