The incumbent will coordinate with internal and external customers to understand the parameters of projects and provide guidance to junior team members. Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of complex transportation, network, and operational solutions that drive significant business value Serve as a subject matter expert in transportation network design and solution development, guiding stakeholders through complex operational and customer challenges Solve highly complex and ambiguous business problems using advanced analytics, modeling, optimization, and simulation techniques Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, stakeholders, and leadership by translating business needs into practical and innovative solutions Lead large-scale projects and initiatives from concept through implementation, coordinating across multiple functions and stakeholders Influence decision-making through clear communication of insights, recommendations, risks, and tradeoffs to technical and executive audiences Develop and enhance analytical tools, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks that drive strategic decision-making Apply advanced industrial engineering and operations research methodologies, including network design, routing, scheduling, optimization, and scenario modeling Quantify, communicate, and present project outcomes, including financial impact, service improvements, and operational efficiencies Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers, contributing to the development of engineering best practices and team capabilities Evaluate emerging business needs, technologies, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience, and training with 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or related field AND Demonstration of the following Experience in data visualization software, statistics, operations research, linear programming, forecasting, predictive modeling, relational databases, and/or SQL Compensation: Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
