Description

As a Sr Legal Operations Specialist here at Honeywell, you will manage and optimize legal department processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will oversee the implementation and maintenance of legal technology tools and systems, leveraging technology to streamline legal operations and improve productivity. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will work to streamline legal processes and improve coordination and communication between the legal department and other business units. Managing the legal department budget and tracking expenses will also be part of your responsibilities.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal department by developing and implementing legal operations strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize performance. You will also ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, and stay up-to-date with changes in legal technology and industry trends.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinates worldwide compliance with corporate formalities and standard governance across legal entities
  • Establishes policies, practices, standards, templates and service models for coordinating compliance and driving efficiency
  • Manages third-party vendors, including assuring establishment of, and compliance to, budget, and ensures stakeholder accountability
  • Ensures corporate entity databases are current
  • Leads, from a legal perspective, legal entity simplification efforts


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5 years of experience in compliance
  • Strong knowledge of legal department operations and best practices
  • Experience in implementing and managing legal technology tools and systems
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
