Sr Global Supply Planner

The Sr. Global Supply Planner translates L.A.B. Golf’s demand forecast into an executable, time-phased supply plan across our global network, including our Creswell, Oregon manufacturing site, Goshen distribution operation, contract manufacturing and fulfillment partner in Mexico, and component suppliers across Asia and North America. This role determines what to buy, build, and move, in what quantities and when, balancing inventory, supplier lead times, production capacity, and customer service objectives. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain, this senior individual contributor partners with the Global Demand Planner and owns the weekly supply planning routine, planning parameters, and inventory health across the network. Global Sourcing owns supplier selection, qualification, and cost; Procurement executes purchase orders; and Plant Operations owns build execution. This role owns the supply plan that guides those activities and monitors performance against it. This is a hands-on, remote role requiring daily involvement in the ERP and planning model. The successful candidate will manage existing planning processes while building more consistent, documented, and scalable practices as L.A.B. Golf grows. Responsibilities and Duties Supply Planning and Standard Operating Procedure Partner with the Global Demand Planner to translate forecasts into executable supply plans that balance inventory, capacity, supplier lead times, and customer expectations. Develop and maintain BOM-driven, time-phased supply plans, including dependent demand, order timing, quantities, and lead times. Own the weekly supply planning and MRP routine, including Plan, Attain, and Adjust reviews, and provide purchase, production, and transfer recommendations. Plan against available inventory, accounting for sales commitments, quarantined materials, backorders, safety stock, transfers, and materials at outside processors. Prepare supply updates for monthly Standard Operating Procedure, highlighting constraints, risks, and recommended trade-offs. Production and Capacity Planning Optimize production schedules and capacity utilization at Creswell and contract manufacturing partners in partnership with the Director of Manufacturing, who owns build execution. Maintain rough-cut capacity plans covering labor, equipment, and partner throughput; identify gaps early and recommend solutions such as sequencing, overtime, outsourcing, or demand adjustments. Plan component availability, build sequencing, and finished-goods replenishment through the Mexico manufacturing and fulfillment partner. Global Supply and Inventory Management Manage supply plans for globally sourced products, accounting for sourcing strategies, supplier lead times, minimum order quantities, and logistics constraints. Monitor raw material, work-in-process, and finished-goods inventory across all locations; proactively address shortages, excess, slow-moving inventory, and obsolescence. Establish and maintain item-level planning parameters, including safety stock, reorder points, lead times, order quantities, and inventory policies, with documented rationale and regular reviews. Plan inventory deployment across Creswell, Goshen, and partner locations to balance network-wide needs. New Product Introduction and End-of-Life Develop purchasing and inventory strategies for new product launches, including initial buy quantities, component staging, and ramp plans. Partner with Global Sourcing and Product Development to align supply plans with launch dates, supplier readiness, tooling, and validation milestones. Own end-of-life planning, including phase-out timing, last-time buys, run-out plans, and disposition of residual inventory to minimize write-offs.
