Responsible for the procurement lifecycle for capital projects including forecasting facilities equipment, PVF electrical, automation, pipeline, and associated mechanical/electrical labor. This role takes full ownership of the supply chain cycle from RFP to final equipment delivery and project close-out. Responsible for overseeing vendor management, detailed tracking of equipment status, and managing various data sources. Responsible for assuring cost-effective, safe, timely, and quality operations, identifying problematic scenarios, and implementing preventative measures in the assigned categories.
Essential Roles & Responsibilities

End-to-End Ownership: Own and manage the entire procurement process for assigned categories, from issuing the initial Request for Proposal (RFP) to ensuring final equipment delivery, and project close-out.

Category Management: Act as the primary category manager for facilities equipment, PVF, and electrical/automation. Execute and develop sourcing strategies that can be standardized, ensuring the timely acquisition of high-quality equipment and services at competitive prices.

Strategic Sourcing: Analyze and report on vendor performance, project timelines, and cost-savings data to manage trends and support recommendations to management for all assigned categories.

Advanced Technical Understanding: Maintain an advanced understanding of facilities equipment, PVF, automation, fabrication processes, and project management to drive value.

Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach stakeholders on procurement policies and objectives.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead integrated solutions meetings and interact with engineers, project managers, and consultants providing them with procurement updates and strategies.

Operational Support: Support all areas of operations to ensure internal processes and daily requirements are fulfilled for the procurement of both materials and services.

Vendor Management: Lead and coordinate with third-party vendors to review schedule and follow up on fabrication, delivery, and ensure Master Work agreements (MWAs) are in place and valid.

Audit and Compliance: A disciplined approach to saving and organizing required procurement documentation for audit purposes.

Required Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree required.
- 8+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, procurement, or category management.
- Experience with capital equipment purchasing and strategic sourcing.
Preferred Experience
Above experience in an Oil & Gas capacity is preferred along with:
- Required experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and capital equipment purchasing.
- Required experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and managing MSAs.
- Required experience in project procurement, cost-savings analysis, and equipment tracking.
- Extensive knowledge of E&P operations and managing multi-disciplined projects.
