Sr Developer - Enterprise Development
Element ElectronicsDescription: Established in 2007, Element Electronics began with a simple belief - every household should have access to TVs featuring cutting-edge technology. In 2014, we took our commitment further by opening a factory in Winnsboro, SC, making Element the sole major television company assembling TVs in the United States. Presently, we continue to challenge ourselves, expanding our product range to include electronics and home appliances, while consistently providing customers with products showcasing the latest technology, all at affordable prices. PRIMARY FUNCTION: Element Electronics is building an in-house development team from the ground up. The Senior Developer is a core member of that team, responsible for designing and building the custom applications and integrations that support our manufacturing, distribution, and corporate operations. This role works alongside the Technical Lead and business stakeholders to turn requirements into working software: architecting complex solutions, learning our ERP and operational processes, and delivering secure, maintainable applications on a modern .NET and front-end stack. Current priorities include building custom applications that advance our business initiatives and building efficiencies for our manufacturing facilities. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role with no direct reports. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Application Development & Integration (60%) Design, build, and maintain custom applications using C#/.NET on the back end and React/Next.js/TypeScript on the front end. Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and other enterprise systems (EDI, warehouse and manufacturing systems, data platform) through APIs and integration platforms. Write clean, tested, well-documented code and participate in code reviews. Support and troubleshoot applications in production; drive root-cause fixes over workarounds. Solution Architecture (25%) Architect complex solutions that are scalable, secure, and maintainable; document designs and trade-offs. Learn ERP and manufacturing processes deeply enough to design solutions that fit how the business actually operates. Evaluate tools, frameworks, and services and recommend the right fit for the problem. Quality & Security (10%) Follow the team's SDLC: source control, branching, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, and release management. Apply security-by-design practices and comply with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements. Other duties as assigned (5%) Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of software development experience, with a strong foundation in C#/.NET (ASP.NET, Web APIs, Entity Framework) and SQL Server. Demonstrated ability to architect complex solutions and see them through to production. Solid understanding of RESTful API design, authentication (OAuth/OIDC), and enterprise integration patterns; experience integrating with ERP or other enterprise platforms via their APIs. Agile delivery experience: working in sprints, managing backlog items, collaborating across teams. Willingness and ability to learn ERP and manufacturing business processes. Strong communication skills; able to work directly with non-technical stakeholders. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Front-end proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript. DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments in Azure. Manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments. Integration platforms (Workato, Celigo, Boomi) and EDI platforms (Orderful or similar). Data and AI experience: data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or similar), building with LLM APIs, or AI-assisted development tools.
