Duties
• Safely operate a sprinter van for cross-border shipments, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo with care, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation standards
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customs officials, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, including delivery logs, customs paperwork, and inspection reports
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing freight, and performing heavy lifting as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and ensuring a positive delivery experience
Qualifications
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record suitable for cross-border transportation
• Experience operating sprinter vans or similar vehicles in a commercial setting
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including moving inventory and forklift operation (certification preferred)
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, clients, and customs officials
• Prior warehouse experience is advantageous; a proactive attitude toward safety is essential
• Ability to navigate international routes confidently while maintaining punctuality and professionalism
