About Fulfillment IQ (FIQ) Fulfillment IQ is a supply chain engineering and transformation company that helps brands, retailers, and 3PLs design, build, and scale high-performance logistics operations.
We work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology where we solve complex, real-world problems across warehouse design, automation, order management, transportation, and end-to-end supply chain execution.
Our teams combine deep domain expertise with strong technical capability, delivering outcomes through consulting, systems implementation, and proprietary platforms that accelerate time-to-value and reduce delivery risk.
If you enjoy working in complex environments, partnering closely with clients, and seeing your work make a tangible impact on how global commerce moves, this is the place where your skills and judgment truly come to life.
Role Overview FIQ is seeking an experienced Blue Yonder WMS Consultant – Design / Techno-Functional Lead to support an active enterprise warehouse-management initiative on a contract basis.
This is a client-facing design lead role. You will be the person representing FIQ's Blue Yonder expertise directly to client leadership — reliability, punctuality, and executive presence in client settings are evaluated as rigorously as technical depth throughout our interview process and on the engagement itself.
This role will lead and support WMS discovery, requirements validation, solution design, design assurance, and stakeholder enablement. The consultant will work closely with business, operations, product, and technical stakeholders to translate warehouse requirements into scalable Blue Yonder WMS solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong warehouse-operational knowledge with hands‑on, configuration-level Blue Yonder WMS expertise, preferably including recent Blue Yonder cloud releases. This requires genuine configuration-level depth: candidates should be able to speak firsthand to design tradeoffs and configuration decisions they personally made — not experience limited to testing flows built by others, or administering an already‑live system from the operations side.
Candidates with a Blue Yonder or Manhattan product/implementation background are strongly preferred. The consultant should be comfortable facilitating design workshops, challenging requirements and solution assumptions, reviewing functional and technical documentation, identifying gaps and dependencies, developing training materials, and guiding stakeholders through complex design decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support discovery, requirements-validation, and solution-design activities for Blue Yonder WMS engagements.
Facilitate workshops covering inbound, inventory, outbound, returns, replenishment, value-added services, kitting, reporting, integrations, data, automation, and related warehouse processes.
Assess current-state warehouse operations and translate business requirements into scalable future-state processes and system capabilities.
Review existing WMS templates, configurations, process flows, and supporting documentation.
Evaluate standard Blue Yonder functionality against business and operational requirements — for example, assessing whether a client's custom allocation logic (FIFO, expiry-tracked, single-LPN vs. consolidated) can be met through standard configuration or requires backend specification-level customization.
Identify functional gaps, design risks, dependencies, assumptions, constraint
