What You'll Be Doing Customer Service: Welcome customers, answer questions, recommend products, and create a friendly, exciting shopping experience. Sales: Help customers discover sports cards, TCG products, collectibles, and accessories that match their interests. Inventory Management: Receive shipments, unpack merchandise, price products, restock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain displays. Card Knowledge: Stay informed about new releases, popular products, market trends, and what's happening in the hobby. Events & Community: Help organize and run trading card events, tournaments, trade nights, product releases, and other in-store activities. Order Fulfillment: Pack orders carefully, prepare shipments, and assist with online sales and other store operations. Store Presentation: Keep the shop clean, organized, well-stocked, and welcoming. Teamwork: Support your coworkers, take initiative, and help wherever needed to keep the store running smoothly. Business Growth: Bring fresh ideas, help promote the shop, engage with our community, and contribute to making Card City Collectibles a destination for collectors. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Has a genuine passion for trading cards, sports cards, TCGs, or collectibles. Enjoys talking about the hobby and connecting with fellow collectors. Has knowledge of at least one area of the hobby, whether sports cards or trading card games. Knowledge of both is a huge plus! Is friendly, outgoing, patient, and provides excellent customer service. Is dependable, trustworthy, organized, and detail-oriented. Is flexible with scheduling and willing to help with different responsibilities as the business grows. Takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what needs to get done. Works well with others and enjoys being part of a team. Is excited to learn, contribute ideas, and grow with a new business. Understands that building a great card shop is about creating relationships and a community, not just selling products. Bonus Points If You... Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus! We love being able to connect with our diverse community and provide excellent customer service in both languages. Actively collect sports cards, Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, or other TCGs. Know how to play or teach popular trading card games. Have experience participating in or organizing TCG tournaments. Understand card grading, PSA, card conditions, and collectible values. Are familiar with hobby products, sealed wax, singles, and new releases. Have experience with Whatnot, live breaks, online selling, or social media. Have worked in a card shop, hobby store, or retail environment. Enjoy attending card shows, trade nights, or other hobby events. Previous retail experience is a plus, but passion for the hobby, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are just as important to us. Why Join CC Collectibles?
