Special Picker

Overview As a Special Picker, you’ll keep warehouse orders moving by locating, picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment. You’ll use warehouse equipment and scanning tools to handle materials accurately, maintain organized inventory, and support safe, efficient warehouse operations. Your impact: Accurate order fulfillment helps customers and receiving teams get the right products in good condition. Responsibilities Pick and verify orders using an RF (radio frequency) scanner, barcode scanning, and a warehouse management system (WMS). Operate equipment such as an order picker, reach truck, pallet jack, as authorized. Pack and label products, complete quality checks, and prepare shipments for shipping and receiving. Load and unload deliveries, stock products, and update inventory records using inventory management systems. Follow safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and apply safe manual handling practices when lifting or moving materials. Qualifications Warehouse experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, picking and packing, packaging, or materials handling is helpful. Ability to perform basic math, check order details, and maintain accurate inventory information. Familiarity with warehouse management, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and inventory management is an asset. Experience operating material handling equipment or other heavy equipment is preferred; follow all required authorization and safety procedures. Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus. Ability to handle heavy lifting and meet the physical demands of the role is required. Must be able to carry up to 50lbs Must be able to stand, lift, and climb a 5 stair ladder if needed.
