WORK WITH A PROFESSIONAL TEAM. Universal Charter Services is actively seeking professional, safety-focused, customer-service-oriented Motorcoach Drivers to join our team in West Sacramento. SPAB-certified drivers are our highest priority. We have established school transportation accounts and immediate work opportunities for qualified SPAB drivers . In addition to school transportation, our motorcoach operation provides corporate, VIP, charter and group transportation throughout the Greater Sacramento area and wherever our clients' needs take us. Our drivers enjoy a variety of assignments and destinations rather than being limited to one type of driving. NEW MCI MOTORCOACHES We've made a significant investment in new MCI motorcoaches and modern professional equipment for our drivers and clients. We know experienced professional drivers take pride in the equipment they operate. We want our drivers behind the wheel of equipment that reflects the same level of professionalism we expect from our team. If you are an experienced SPAB or motorcoach driver who appreciates operating new, professional-quality equipment , we want to talk with you. COMPENSATION Starting pay: $28.00 per hour Qualified, experienced SPAB-certified drivers can earn up to $35.00 per hour , depending on qualifications and experience. A hiring bonus is also available for qualified SPAB-certified drivers. Already SPAB Certified? We are especially interested in speaking with you. We have established accounts, immediate work opportunities and new MCI motorcoach equipment ready for qualified professional drivers. Experienced Driver Without SPAB? We still want to hear from you. Experienced Class B commercial passenger drivers who do not currently hold SPAB certification are encouraged to apply. For the right candidates, training opportunities are available to help you obtain your SPAB certification and expand your professional driving opportunities. New to the Industry? Candidates newer to commercial passenger transportation may also be considered for our comprehensive driver training program. Becoming a professional motorcoach driver requires a significant commitment of time and effort from both the company and the candidate. We are willing to invest in individuals who demonstrate the professionalism, commitment and work ethic necessary to succeed in this industry. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Valid commercial driver's license appropriate for operating passenger motorcoaches Current SPAB certification strongly preferred Strong commitment to passenger safety and professional vehicle operation Excellent customer-service and communication skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed Willingness to operate trips throughout the Greater Sacramento area and travel to other destinations as client needs require Professional chauffeur appearance and grooming standards Standard chauffeur attire: solid black suit, white dress shirt and polished dress shoes All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of applicable post-offer, pre-employment background check and drug screening, in accordance with federal and California law.
