Responsibilities Sourcing/Supplier Quality Engineer Intern Position SummaryThe Sourcing/Supplier Quality Engineer intern will be responsible for providing technical support focusing on supplier quality projects. The intern will assist the Supply Chain & Quality department with projects from scope definition through implementation. This position will be located in Bloomington, MN for the summer of 2027. Sourcing/Supplier Quality Engineer Intern Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide internal technical support for purchased materialsAssist with supplier evaluations and supplier corrective actionsAssist with documentation updates such as inspection procedures or drawingsAssist with the implementation of process improvements related to incoming materials, purchasing and suppliers.Partners with the other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance as neededUnderstands customer needs and the core business markets we serveSupports and complies with the company’s Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirementsCompletes all other work duties as assigned Qualifications Sourcing/Supplier Quality Engineer Intern QualificationsEnrollment in a four-year degree program for Supply Chain, Mechanical, or Industrial EngineeringAbility to read and interpret documents such as technical drawings, specifications, requirements, standards, procedure manuals, etc.Project management and leadership skillsDemonstrate excellent interpersonal and team building skills to create effective working coworkersAbility to follow through on commitments and holds team members accountable Strong problem-solving skills Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to prioritize and multitask What to Expect from an Internship with Cretex Medical?Each summer, we are excited to offer interns countless opportunities to network, learn more about the Cretex family of businesses, and have fun!
