Job 209 :Sourcing Specialist II : Job ID: 3955 Due to nuclear site access/or export-controlled project requirements, this role requires candidates must also be willing to work on W2. Hiring: Sourcing and Procurement Specialist | Findlay Township, PA Work model: Hybrid, three days on-site per week. The first month is fully on-site for training. Local candidates only. Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Travel: None Interview process: One or two virtual rounds, including a panel interview. Bill Rate: $34/hr Contract Duration: Approximately 12 Months (Possible extension) We are seeking a Sourcing and Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and purchase order execution across multiple projects. This role will analyze spending, negotiate with suppliers, improve on-time delivery, and support the full procure-to-pay cycle. Must-have skills Procurement SAP Key responsibilities Conduct RFQs and negotiate pricing and contract terms. Issue purchase orders, track acknowledgments and deliveries, and keep the ERP system current. Resolve delivery, invoice, accounts payable, logistics, customs, and supplier issues. Follow purchasing requirements for U.S. Government and defense-related programs. Analyze spending and supplier performance to identify savings and improve payment terms and on-time delivery. Work with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Project Management, Quality, and sourcing teams on project needs and procurement strategies. Prepare reports and communicate project and supplier status to stakeholders. Required qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from an accredited college or university. At least two years of experience in commercial sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation; or one year of relevant experience plus an MBA or related master’s degree. Experience executing purchase orders and a working knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes. Ability to work proactively with suppliers and negotiate when needed. Preferred qualifications Experience expediting purchases from order placement through delivery. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel formulas, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables. Strong communication, presentation, reporting, negotiation, and data analysis skills. Ability to manage procurement tasks across multiple projects and assess supplier capability and capacity.
