Sourcing Representative

Responsibilities: Be the primary point of contact for inbound raw material. Make daily sourcing calls from multiples sourcing options. Understand and monitor the price and competitive market conditions that affect sourcing. Successfully build, influence and manage internal relationships to achieve sourcing objectives. Build and maintain relationships with vendors/sources for raw materials. Using the systems and programs available, provide actionable data and reports to the field and management. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required At least 3-5 years of customer service or sales experience required Strong relationship building skills, tenacity and sales bias Action orientated and able to execute quickly Customer focused (internal and external) – always staying in touch with the customer and their needs Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to create buy in from generator Ability to effectively present information Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills Microsoft Office Suite – above average computer skills including Excel Strong work ethic Strong team orientation with ability to work collaboratively Possess personal drive, self-motivation, and takes initiative to meet all deadlines
