What you will do The Sourcing Manager- NPI (Hybrid) serves as the strategic sourcing leader for new product development programs, partnering with Marketing, R&D, Operations, Quality, Finance, and suppliers to bring innovative products from concept through commercialization. This role is responsible for driving the strategy on how we partner with our internal stakeholders and external suppliers. In addition, the successful candidate will also execute sourcing strategies that enable successful product launches, mitigate risk, optimize cost, and create long-term business value. This role as a hybrid work style. The desired employee will be located in Flower Mound, TX or the surrounding area, expected to be physically present at a Stryker location on a cadenced basis but has the flexibility to work from home. Lead sourcing strategy for multiple new product development and new product introduction (NPI) initiatives, ensuring alignment with business, operational, and commercialization objectives. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for new technologies, components, and manufacturing processes, balancing cost, quality, service, innovation, and risk. Develop and execute supplier strategies that support product launches, margin expansion, supply continuity, and long-term growth. Serve as the primary commercial interface between suppliers and cross-functional teams, influencing decisions and resolving issues to achieve program milestones. Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Marketing to ensure sourcing strategies support project timelines, business cases, and financial objectives. What you need Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field. 8 years of sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or supplier management experience. Demonstrated experience leading supplier contract negotiations and sourcing strategies for complex products or programs. Preferred Qualifications 3 years of project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives. Experience in medical devices or other highly regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, automotive, life sciences). SAP experience.
