Today, our +5,000 energetic employees are based in +80 locations in Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia-Pacific and are working together to support over 200,000 customers worldwide.From compounding and natural products to software, equipment, and genomics — we deliver smart, ready-to-use solutions that make healthcare better.We’re passionate, science-driven, and always looking for new ways to improve lives. 🚀Explore your future at Fagron Career Site.About The JobThe Sourcing Manager will impact the supply availability by working with sales, demand planners, and vendors to optimize supply and pricing across the product catalog.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Head of Procurement and Lead Process of negotiating best prices and conditions with assigned suppliers based on the established category strategies managed by category management and based on the consolidated forecast provided by demand planning.Collate and report metrics on product availability and savingsTrack secondary suppliers for critical products and pursue alternatives where necessaryProactively manage and develop supplier relationships in collaboration with category management.Create, fine tune, publish, and communicate sourcing procedures.Lead periodic business reviews with suppliers and stakeholders and being the main point of commercial contact for selected suppliers.Lead team in researching price/condition, and structural performance/communication issues with external suppliers.Lead the team in researching price/condition discrepancies reported by Purchasing and pursuing short- and long-term solutions.Act as sourcing business partner to internal stakeholders by leading the supplier selection for new product development, supporting cross-functional groups in executing change controls and by providing expert knowledge on approaching suppliers.Other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications4-5 years of related experienceExperience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industy preferredUser-level knowledge of major ERP/MRP systems (Navision, SAP, Oracle, etc.)CPIM and/or APICS certification is preferredA team player with good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)Flexibility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentProactive mindsetAbility to lead, motivate, and engage others to ensure timely delivery of productStrong knowledge of relevant topics within QA, QC, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain as required to efficiently lead cross-functional teamsComfortable with negotiationA quick learner and team player, exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skillsDiscipline to follow policies, processes, and proceduresCapability to communicate with different stakeholder levelsWhat's on Offer?Fagron offers its associates competitive salaries and a wide range of benefits including a 401(k) plan with a company matching contribution; medical, vision and dental; health savings account (HSA); holiday/paid time off.At Fagron, you’ll find plenty of chances to grow — both personally and professionally.
