About the Role Sourced is our personalized sourcing and purchasing service for household essentials, from small appliances to the everyday details that make a home function beautifully. As a Sourced Designer, you’ll work closely with our Sourced Manager to turn each client’s vision, lifestyle, and budget into cohesive product recommendations, then help bring those selections into their home. This role is ideal for someone with a strong design eye who also enjoys the practical work of getting a project across the finish line. What You’ll Do Join client discovery conversations and, over time, lead assigned conversations and projects Source products and create design boards, lookbooks, product lists, and draft proposals Build trusting client relationships and recommend additional products or services that add real value Order products, manage budgets and purchasing records, and track deliveries, returns, and credits Coordinate with vendors to resolve purchasing and delivery issues Pick up, unbox, label, and organize products, and assist with delivery and installation What We’re Looking For Experience in design, product sourcing, procurement, project coordination, luxury retail, hospitality, or high-touch client service An eye for products that are both beautiful and functional Confidence presenting recommendations and discussing budgets with clients Strong numerical accuracy and the ability to manage many details across multiple projects Strong written and verbal communication skills, with consistent follow-through Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel; experience with Canva or Asana preferred Requirements Weekday availability for client meetings, purchasing, deliveries, and installations Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current vehicle insurance Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, use stairs and a step stool or small ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds, with appropriate assistance or reasonable accommodation as needed Regular local travel in the Austin area, plus possible domestic travel a few times per year Business mileage is reimbursed according to company policy.
