Key Responsibilities
• Group, separate, and sort mail bundles and packages based on regional zip codes and local delivery routes
• Place sorted packages and mail containers into designated staging zones, transport bins, or rolling carts
• Feed packages and letters onto automated sorting conveyor systems swiftly to maintain optimal processing volume
• Monitor sorting conveyor operations to quickly clear item jams, overlaps, or misaligned barcodes
• Read and interpret automated digital displays and printed shipping labels rapidly without losing accuracy
• Maintain clean and organized workspace lanes to facilitate smooth package transitions and prevent tripping hazards

Requirements and Qualifications
• Must be a United States citizen or a lawful permanent resident alien
• Must be at least eighteen years old or sixteen years old with a high school diploma
• Ability to pass a federal background check, a mandatory drug screening, and a physical stamina evaluation
• Physical capacity to stand, walk, and stretch continuously during your shift and lift up to seventy pounds
• Solid reading comprehension in English to quickly decode rapid sorting codes, alphabetic markers, and numbers
• Flexibility to work non traditional schedules including overnight shifts, weekends, and seasonal overtime
