Solo Home Daily FedEx Driver (Reno, NV). 100% no touch freight, all drop and hook. The hell with the rest, come work with the best. At JAK Logistics, we are under new management and seeking a full time professional Class A solo driver with doubles endorsements for our Dedicated Reno Uline run. Predominantly we run 53' trailers with doubles ran approximately 20-30% of the time. We won't bullshit or lie to you. We just keep it real. The truck is parked in Reno, NV at the FedEx hub. Medical, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, long term disability, and short term disability available after 30 days. Vacation available after one year. Reno FedEx Yard --> ULINE (Reno) to hook loaded trailer --> Sacramento FedEx Yard --> Back to Reno FedEx Yard. Battery powered leaf blower, broom and dustpan provided. All empty ULINE trailers must be completely clean of any debris, trash, pallets, etc. If the only trailers that are available have any of ULINE's sort the trailer can be taken to the pallet guys in the back to clean. ULINE is a single door swap each day where you would drop your empty, hook the loaded trailer, rehook to the empty and put it on the door for ULINE. This is paid at $50 per day for the hassle of cleaning the trailer. Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 12:30 PM start time. Home daily by 9:00 PM. Miles: 1,575 weekly miles. $1 per mile. No touch, drop & hook freight Paid extra $50 when throwing chains Paid extra $25 when completing monthly training assignment by the 7th Paid extra $50 for helping move vehicles to/from the shop. No owner operators. Driver must have a minimum two years of tractor trailer experience pulling doubles within the last three years or three years of driving experience within the last five years. You must be tech savvy enough to complete monthly online training, a pre, en-route, and post trip inspection process with a company app, and the new hire onboarding process, which can all be done from any smartphone. Pay: $1,500 sign on bonus at 90 days. Already a FedEx approved and active driver? Larger sign on bonus available Weekly pay with direct deposit paid every Friday. Monthly cell phone payment available. FedEx approved active drivers/drivers currently working for FedEx are strongly preferred. Veterans also preferred. Otherwise qualified candidates will be considered. Requirements: Doubles / Triples endorsement required. No Hazmat required. Minimum of 2 years of tractor trailer experience required. Dependable transportation is required. Trucks are not taken home. You must be ready to show up on time every week with no call offs. You must be willing to adhere to all FedEx and company policies. More details: Your truck is a 12 speed automatic 2023 Freightliner Cascadia with refrigerator, microwave, and power inverter. We have a Ryder maintenance program so our fleet stays maintained. If there is a breakdown on the highway, road service is just a call away. If the truck can’t be repaired then a subunit will be brought out to you, minimizing down time.
