The Opportunity This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What You’ll Do Maintain and improve work order documentation within plant maintenance systems, including calibrations, preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), and corrective work orders. Conduct field assessments of work orders to determine job scope, required materials, labor, equipment, and sequencing. Estimate labor hours and resources needed to complete maintenance activities. Prepare job plans, schematics, material lists, tool requirements, and safety documentation. Develop and maintain labor standards for maintenance tasks. Coordinate procurement of stocked and non-stocked spare parts to minimize equipment downtime. Expedite parts delivery and ensure proper inventory management and storage practices. Maintain accurate spare parts data and inventory records in partnership with the storeroom. Monitor and update maintenance systems, including PM and PdM programs and scheduled work orders. Review, prioritize, and distribute maintenance work orders across all shifts. Communicate with internal customers to schedule maintenance activities and coordinate equipment availability. Support maintenance activities during weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and off-shifts, including coordination of contractors and plant personnel as needed. Provide hands-on maintenance support during emergencies or staffing shortages when required. Verify completed work for quality, compliance, and adherence to maintenance standards. Serve as a liaison between Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering, and other departments to support maintenance planning and execution.
