Small Trucking company hiring CDL class A or B

Overview Join a small trucking team as a Class A or Class B commercial driver. You’ll handle freight and deliveries, operate the equipment suited to each assignment, and keep loads moving safely and reliably. This role may include local route driving and over-the-road (OTR) routes. Duties Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive their freight and keep their operations moving. Drive commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, and use GPS navigation to follow assigned routes. Load and unload freight; handle cargo manually or with a forklift when appropriate. Operate applicable equipment, which may include refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or automobile transportation equipment. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, as well as hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements when applicable. Skills Required: Valid Class A or Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL), safe driving practices, and ability to operate a manual transmission if required for assigned equipment. Required: Commercial truck driving, delivery driving, truck loading and unloading, and manual handling skills. Preferred: Delivery driver experience, route driving, logistics cargo handling, and experience transporting freight. Preferred: Experience with refrigerated trailers, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or automobile transportation. Hazmat qualifications and experience with hazardous materials regulations are preferred for applicable routes and loads.
