Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Skylight Assembly Technician / Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. This role combines hands-on assembly of custom skylights and related products with responsible delivery to construction sites and clients. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess a strong mechanical aptitude to ensure quality craftsmanship and timely deliveries. Responsibilities Assemble skylights and related components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and fabrication equipment according to blueprint specifications. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise assembly and fabrication. Measure materials accurately using tape measures and other measurement tools for quality control. Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely to move raw materials and finished products within the shop area. Follow safety protocols diligently during assembly, fabrication, and transportation processes to maintain a safe working environment. Load completed skylights onto delivery vehicles securely, ensuring proper handling of composite materials and millwork components. Deliver products efficiently to designated locations while adhering to schedule timelines and safety guidelines. Qualifications Proven experience with forklift operation and warehouse procedures. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly or manufacturing environments. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and tape measures. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and measurement specifications accurately. Familiarity with composite materials, woodworking, millwork, and fabrication processes. Strong shop math skills for accurate measurements and quality assurance. Knowledge of safety protocols related to manufacturing and transportation environments. Experience in carpentry or woodworking is a plus. Ability to follow detailed blueprint instructions precisely while maintaining high-quality standards.
