Position Overview: Kenco Group is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Site Shuttle Driver for our Evansville, IN location. This role is responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods between warehouses using a diesel tractor and trailer. The successful candidate will possess a valid Class A CDL and a strong commitment to adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines. This is a local shuttle position, ensuring drivers are home every night. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport freight between warehouses and production facilities according to scheduled routes Operate a diesel tractor with an automatic or manual transmission, as well as yard spotter trucks when needed. Transport drive-in and refrigerated trailers Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring equipment is fueled and in good working order Maintain accurate driver logs, trip reports, and other required documentation Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations, while maintaining a professional demeanor on the road Adhere to company policies, participate in mandatory training, and ensure assigned vehicles are clean and well-maintained Be accountable for all assigned tools and equipment Work overtime and weekends as required to support customer production needs Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of Class A driving experience Valid Class A CDL Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire, reimbursed by the employer) Compliance with FMCSA and company driving requirements Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off, including holidays and vacation Weekly attendance bonuses Company-provided uniforms, personal protective equipment (PPE), and annual paid physical exams Additional Information: Local shuttle routes in Evansville, IN – drivers are home nightly Overtime required based on customer demand Kenco is committed to providing a safe work environment and follows the 60-hour service rule for drivers Equal Opportunity Employer: Kenco Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
