Site Manager - Installation Support Services

PLEASE READ: Seriously interested candidates must sign a Letter of Intent About the role We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead installation support services at a large Department of Defense storage and distribution center. The Site Manager has full authority to act on all matters of contract performance and leads a workforce of approximately 39 employees in facilities maintenance, utilities, grounds, equipment and material handling equipment (MHE) maintenance, industrial control systems, and mail services. Responsibilities · Serve as single on-site authority and primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer and Government representatives · Direct preventive and unscheduled maintenance of facilities, utility systems (water, wastewater plant and lift stations, high-voltage electrical, natural gas), HVAC, fire suppression and alarm systems, roads and grounds · Oversee maintenance and repair of MHE, heavy equipment, dock systems and GSA vehicles · Manage work orders by priority in Government systems and meet Acceptable Performance Levels · Allocate staff and resources, manage budgets, and approve repair estimates within contract thresholds · Lead the contract transition, including hiring, training, joint property inventory and required plans · Work with the collective bargaining agreement and maintain positive labor relations · Lead safety, quality control and emergency response, including after-hours call-outs Required qualifications · At least 10 years of experience managing installation support, facilities operations and maintenance, or base operations services of similar size, scope and complexity (approximately 40 personnel; multiple trades; utilities and equipment maintenance) · Experience managing Government contracts · Ability to be on site within 1 hour during duty hours and within 2 hours after hours; must live within commuting distance of Tracy, CA · Ability to pass a Moderate Risk background investigation · U.S. citizenship · Valid driver's license Candidates must sign a Letter of Intent Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Application Question(s): Are you willing to sign a Letter of Intent Work Location: In person
