Role We are seeking a Site Manager to join our Operations team. In this role, you will support Lithium Americas’ efforts to build, commission, and operate a new plant at Thacker Pass in a safe and efficient manner, working closely with the Site Operations Director. You will provide site-wide oversight and coordination across mining, operations, and maintenance while coordinating closely with EHS, supply chain and other site support functions to ensure alignment of activities, compliance with standards, and readiness for operations. The Training function will report to the Site Manager, with responsibility for ensuring site training programs support operational readiness, employee development, and ongoing operational needs. While other functional areas do not report directly to this role, you will act as the integrator for commissioning and daily operations activities—tracking performance, escalating issues, and ensuring all functional areas remain aligned with site objectives. The role is based at our Thacker Pass site and reports to the Site Operations Director. Occasional travel to other LAC offices, project sites, or vendor locations may be required. Key Responsibilities Support the Site Operations Director in operational oversight, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant commissioning, startup, ramp-up, and routine operations. Provide oversight of assigned daily site commissioning and operations activities to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant performance across all functional areas.
