Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair collision damage on heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Perform frame measuring and frame straightening using specialized equipment.
• Repair and replace damaged suspension and steering components.
• Complete structural and non-structural repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Remove, repair, and replace truck body components and panels.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure repairs meet safety and performance standards.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation.
• Work collaboratively with estimators, parts personnel, and management to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in heavy-duty truck collision repair.
• Strong knowledge of truck suspension, steering, and frame systems.
• Experience operating frame racks and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read repair procedures and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license.
• Heavy-duty, body repair, or welding certifications are considered an asset.
