Its steel distributors operations act as master distributors selling steel in large volumes to other steel service centers and large equipment manufacturers mainly on an "as is" basis. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that customer needs are met safely and efficiently. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative environment where cross-training is encouraged. You will operate essential equipment—specifically Hubtex side-loaders, overhead cranes, and forklifts—and play a critical role in maintaining our high standards for inventory control and facility safety. Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, with a primary focus on Hubtex side-loaders, forklifts and overhead cranes. Inventory Management: Execute precise inventory controls, verify stock accurately, and uphold quality standards. Facility Optimization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment while actively optimizing warehouse space utilization. Quality & Compliance: Strictly follow all service standards, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations. Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to streamline operations and proactively report any inventory or mechanical discrepancies. Minimum Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical Skills: Ability to accurately read a tape measure; prior experience with machinery is a plus. Physical Ability: Capability to safely lift, move, and maneuver heavy objects throughout the shift. Soft Skills: Strong organizational abilities, excellent time management, and a highly collaborative mindset. Growth Mindset: A strong willingness to train on new equipment and master additional operational skills.
