Shuttle Bus Driver/Transportation Aide

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their designated locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, safety protocols, and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers. Responsibilities Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including vans, buses, or motor coaches, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort during transit. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior, performing routine inspections and basic maintenance as needed. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules, delays, or passenger needs. Assist passengers with luggage or mobility aids when necessary, ensuring a smooth travel experience for all individuals. Keep accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and any incidents that may occur during transport. Stay informed about local routes and traffic patterns to optimize travel time and enhance service efficiency. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in shuttle driving or similar roles is preferred. Previous experience in customer service is essential; candidates with backgrounds in bus driving, paratransit, or limousine services are highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle operation is a plus for troubleshooting minor issues on the road. Ability to communicate fluently in English; additional language skills are an asset. Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
