Role Description BattagliaStile is seeking a full-time, in-person Showroom/Warehouse Assistant for our Lomita location. This hands-on role helps keep the showroom and warehouse clean, organized, and running smoothly. Responsibilities include organizing samples and materials, carrying large tiles up and down stairs, assisting with deliveries, and supporting the warehouse and sales teams. We are looking for someone dependable, proactive, and organized who enjoys physical work and takes pride in keeping spaces tidy and materials easy to find. Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the showroom, displays, sample rooms, and warehouse areas. Safely move and carry large tiles, sample boards, boxes, and materials, including up and down stairs, using assistance or equipment as needed. Assist the warehouse team with receiving deliveries, organizing inventory, preparing orders, and loading and unloading materials. Receive, label, organize, and put away vendor samples and showroom supplies. Keep samples and inventory in their designated locations so staff can easily find them. Assist with moving, setting up, and updating showroom displays. Gather samples and materials for the sales team and client meetings. Welcome clients and direct them to the appropriate sales representative. Assist with incoming calls and basic administrative tasks as needed. Monitor and restock showroom and office supplies. Follow safe material-handling procedures and report maintenance needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous warehouse, material-handling, inventory, retail, or showroom experience preferred. Ability to safely lift and carry materials weighing up to 40 pounds and handle large or bulky tiles with assistance or equipment as needed. Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying materials up and down stairs. Forklift certification is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Friendly, professional communication skills. Dependable and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills; familiarity with Google Drive or inventory software is a plus.
