Showroom Operations & Merchandising Associate

Job Overview Retail Showroom CoordinatorOverview We’re looking for a dependable, customer-focused Retail Showroom Coordinator to help keep our showroom organized, visually appealing, and ready for customers. This varied role combines merchandising, inventory support, front-end customer service, and daily retail operations. You’ll help maintain high presentation standards, assist customers, and support the management team with day-to-day showroom needs. Responsibilities Assist with product displays, signage, promotions, and seasonal merchandising plans. Keep merchandise organized, stocked, priced, labeled, and displayed according to company standards. Maintain showroom cleanliness, visual appeal, and product availability. Check displays, inventory levels, and signage, and report issues or replenishment needs to management. Help with product moves, receiving, stocking, tagging, and backstock organization. Create or update signs and promotional materials; Adobe Illustrator experience is a plus. Greet customers, answer basic questions, and connect them with the appropriate sales team member. Assist with customer check-in, pickups, returns, phone calls, and other front-end needs. Operate the register and POS system, follow cash-handling procedures, and assist with daily reconciliation. Support inventory management and complete assigned administrative tasks and records. Help customers understand product features through demonstrations and provide a welcoming shopping experience. Look for opportunities to recommend relevant products and support sales goals. Assist with store events, vendor days, and special promotions. Support the management team with daily showroom duties and help resolve customer concerns. Qualifications Retail, customer service, merchandising, or inventory experience preferred. Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach with customers and coworkers. Attention to detail and an eye for clean, attractive product presentation. Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and cash registers; NetSuite experience preferred. Basic math skills and familiarity with cash-handling procedures. Able to manage multiple tasks, follow direction, solve problems, and work well as part of a team. Comfortable standing, walking, and moving or organizing merchandise throughout the day. Product demonstration, signage creation, and Adobe Illustrator experience are helpful, but not required.
