Short/Long Haul Driver (Pickup truck & trailer)

Duties Safely operate commercial trucks for short and long-distance deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper securing and handling of cargo Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Manage freight documentation accurately, including delivery manifests, bills of lading, and inspection reports Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to minimize downtime during routes Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior to uphold company standards for safety and professionalism Requirements Valid Class 5 with Heavy Trailer Endorsement OR Class 3 (or higher) with clean driving record suitable for operating heavy vehicles Proven experience in commercial driving, especially in short haul or long haul routes Proficiency in forklift operation and freight handling techniques Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Commitment to safety protocols, punctuality, and excellent customer service Pay: $1,000.00 per week Benefits: Casual dress Work Location: In person
