We're hiring a shop and warehouse helper to keep our production floor stocked, clean, and moving. This is an entry-level position. You don't need years of experience, but you do need some time on a shop or warehouse floor behind you and the dependability to be counted on every day. It's a general duties role, so your day will change and the work isn't limited to the list below. If you like staying busy with a mix of tasks, you'll fit in well. If you want one fixed task all day, this probably isn't the right job. What You'll Be Doing Duties are assigned day to day and include, but aren't limited to: Running parts pickups and drop-offs Keeping the shop clean, including sweeping, mopping, and tidying Emptying garbage and recycling bins Moving material with a forklift and pallet jack Counting and verifying parts and stock Helping out with basic mechanical and electrical assembly What We Need From You 1 year of forklift experience (counterbalance and reach truck) Valid Class 5 licence (non-GDL) with a clean driver's abstract Your own reliable transportation Dependable attendance. You're on time, you show up when scheduled, and you finish what you start Mechanical aptitude, including a working sense of which hand tool to grab for the job Good listening and communication skills. If an instruction isn't clear, you ask rather than guess Able to manage your own time and switch between tasks without dropping any of them Willingness to learn and pride in doing the job right References We will train you on our products and how we do things. We expect you to show up on time, bring a baseline comfort with hand tools, and communicate effectively.
