Shop Operations / Field & Fleet Support

Job Description Navesink Plumbing & Heating is hiring a full-time team member to operate company dump trucks and trailers, handle material and equipment deliveries, and support daily shop, fleet, and field operations as needed. The ideal candidate has experience driving dump trucks and towing trailers, a working knowledge of plumbing parts and materials, and strong organizational skills. Applicants should be reliable, physically capable, detail-oriented, and able to take direction, communicate effectively, and stay on top of daily shop and field needs. Experience Preferred : 5 years Responsibilities Operate company dump trucks and tow trailers to transport equipment, materials, and debris between job sites Safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and materials Deliver and pick up plumbing materials, tools, and equipment as needed Maintain organization of the shop, storage areas, tools, and equipment Receive, inspect, and organize incoming material deliveries Prepare and stage materials and equipment for upcoming jobs Assist with company truck and fleet maintenance, including routine inspections, upkeep, and service appointments Communicate effectively with supervisors, technicians, and office staff Assist with shop maintenance, cleanup, and other daily operations Qualifications Prior experience operating dump trucks and towing trailers required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Working knowledge of plumbing parts, materials, and equipment Reliable, punctual, and organized Ability to safely load, secure, and transport equipment and materials Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay on top of details Ability to perform physically demanding work Proactive and able to adjust priorities as needed Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance after 3 months (60% company paid premium) Accrual of NJ sick time Unpaid personal days 40 hours/week (may include Saturdays; no Sundays) 5 paid holidays: Christmas, NYD, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day 1 week paid vacation after 1 year of employment Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour Experience: shop/fleet operations: 5 years (Required) Dump truck/trailer: 5 years (Required) Work Location: On the road
