This position works directly with our Warehouse Manager and supports our Operations Manager with logistics, scheduling, vendor communications, project coordination, and general administrative responsibilities. We are looking for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, solving problems, following through on tasks, and helping keep a busy construction operation organized. You do not need to be an expert in every area. We value initiative, reliability, communication, and a willingness to learn. WHAT YOU'LL DO Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily shop logistics, materials, deliveries, and coordination. Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, availability, and follow-ups. Assist the Warehouse Manager in handling routine questions, coordinating follow-ups, and resolving day-to-day operational issues without unnecessary escalation to management. Assist with project documentation, daily reports, purchasing paperwork, and material tracking. Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager, including organizing information and following up on outstanding items. Assist with employee onboarding paperwork, timecard follow-ups, training records, and basic HR administrative tasks. Coordinate routine communication between the shop, vendors, project teams, and management. Identify issues early, handle routine matters independently, and escalate important decisions appropriately. Help with other operational tasks as needed. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Basic familiarity with wood framing, lumber, or construction materials is strongly preferred. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable using email, computers, and basic spreadsheets. Able to communicate professionally with vendors, employees, and management. Dependable, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Willing to learn new systems, processes, and construction terminology. Previous experience in construction, warehouse operations, logistics, or administrative support is helpful but not required. WHY JOIN CRAFT? This is an opportunity to learn different areas of construction operations while working directly with company leadership and an experienced shop team. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company, take ownership of their responsibilities, and become an important part of our daily operations. BENEFITS Washington State paid sick leave Paid Time Off Paid Holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day) Professional development growth and training opportunities Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Paid time off Application Question(s): How familiar are you with wood framing, lumber, or construction materials? Do you have experience with any of the following: warehouse operations, logistics, scheduling, purchasing, vendor coordination, project administration, or HR paperwork? Are you comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and computer-based systems to organize tasks, track information, and communicate with others? If a scheduled material delivery hasn't arrived and the shop crew needs those materials, what steps would you take to resolve the issue? This position involves switching between different tasks, answering questions, following up with vendors, and keeping daily operations organized. How do you stay on top of multiple responsibilities without needing constant direction? Work Location: In person
