All Trades MechanicalOverview Join our dynamic team in our Flemington, NJ location to support the fabrication shop and regional office, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient shop and office operations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to combine warehouse management, project deliveries, material sourcing and customer engagement. Daily duties will vary over the course of any given day or week, but some of regular responsibilities will be as follows: Duties · Interaction with shop personnel, field operation office team, field union labor forces, vendors, customers, trucking companies, etc. · Track and manage warehouse inventory including supporting projects with off-site storage locations, receiving documentation and scheduling deliveries to projects. · Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices and weight handling guidelines · Move inventory within the warehouse using manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts, supporting warehouse operations and organization · Adhere to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and company policies during all driving activities – Non CDL Vehicles · Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly · Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions by maintaining professionalism, clear communication, and a positive attitude · Utilize mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch or team members Skills · Proven experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or courier roles with a focus on safe manual handling and moving materials. · Valid driver’s license (non CDL) with commercial driving experience; familiarity with box trucks or commercial trucks preferred. · Strong knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT compliance, and safe lifting practices in the workplace. · Ability to safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks · Excellent driving skills with experience in route driving and adhering to schedules under varying conditions. · Customer service-oriented mindset with clear communication skills. · Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation, documentation, and communication purposes.
