Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Shop Laborer to join our team and support daily warehouse operations. This role involves assisting with the loading, unloading, and movement of materials, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks Assist with order picking and shipping & receiving tasks to ensure timely delivery of products Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and heavy machinery, following all safety protocols Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing inventory and maintaining cleanliness Help with construction-related tasks as needed for pallet and crate assembly Participate in warehouse management system updates for accurate inventory tracking Perform heavy lifting and manual labor to load and unload materials efficiently Requirements Previous warehouse experience or construction background preferred Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other warehouse machinery (certifications are advantageous) Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual tasks Knowledge of warehouse management systems is beneficial Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward task completion Join us at Roy's Woodshop Ltd. where your hands-on skills will help keep our operations running smoothly!
